We wish everyone a very Happy New Year and hope that 2017 brings lots of happiness.
We did not start the year well. Our little son who is just 4, broke his tibia skiing on New Year's day morning. Luckily I felt slightly less anxious after an x-ray showed it was not a bad break. He was treated at the Medical Centre in Val d'Isere and I would like to thank them for their excellent care.
The lack of snow we have had for a month now means that the slopes are very hard and people are more likely to break bones. Please be aware of this and make sure you are in control all the time when you are skiing. Hopefully the next snow fall that is coming on Wednesday evening should make the slopes less hard.
